10. Punitive Articles

Any person subject to this chapter who, knowing that an offense punishable by this chapter has been committed, receives, comforts, or assists the offender in order to hinder or prevent his apprehension, trial, or punishment shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

    Senerio: Crime is being run out of the National Security Agency. The President knows and condones it. The chain of command in the middle (VP, Sec of Defense, CJC, VCJC, & CNO) think they are out of the loop. Who is the most guilty, and what should be the punishment? Let’s just say the crime is… cannibalism.
